Delivery & Storage

We deliver all around mainland Britain, excluding the Highlands and Islands.
Your broth will be delivered to you frozen. Once received, keep it in the freezer until you’re ready to use it.
Yes! Our guidance is that as long as there are still ice crystals in the pouches they will be ok to store in the freezer for their full shelf life.
The shelf life in the fridge varies for each broth, but it’s usually between 1 and 5 days, depending on the broth. Please make sure you check the storage information on the back of the packet for the most accurate instructions.

Subscriptions

We currently offer monthly broth subscriptions, which automatically renew on the same day every month from the day of your first subscription purchase and payment will be taken automatically from your chosen payment method. If you’d like your broth a bit earlier, you can renew your subscription before the automatic renewal date in the ‘my account‘ hub.
Yes, you can amend the contents of your bundle, delivery date, cancel or renew your subscription earlier than the set date by visiting ‘my account‘ hub on our website.
Yes, we will send you an email 2 days before the date payment will be taken so you can check you’re happy with your chosen bundle, make any amends, add products to your subscription, and pick a suitable delivery date.
We will look at the date your renewal payment was taken and then ship your subscription to you on the next possible shipping date. The shipping delivery schedule can be found, It’s very important that there will be someone around to accept delivery of the broths, as they are delivered frozen so cannot be returned to us. Please do make sure someone is around to accept the broths, or if that’s not possible, please pick an alternative suitable delivery date. If you have any issues, questions, or forget to amend the date before payment is taken then don’t worry, just get in touch and we will be happy to assist.

Cooking

Yes, if you use our broth as an ingredient in a recipe it becomes something new, with its own best before date. Depending on what you make, it may be suitable to portion out for freezing. Soups are especially great for this.
For our standard pouches (300g) this will serve approximately 2 small cups, 1 large mug, 1 small bowl or 2 ladles.
Our broths must be brought to a boil before consuming, either by cooking in a recipe or heating then drinking. Once boiled, you can cool the broth and add it to a smoothie, drink or recipe.
We don’t advise this. Instead, please place in a pan either defrosted or fully from frozen into a pan and heat. If microwave use is desired then you can remove from packaging as its not heat proof and defrost.
As long as you stick to the storage and serving instructions, and use the product within the expiry date (up to 6 months frozen from received date) our broths are usually suitable during pregnancy; however, please do seek your own medical advice if you’re unsure.
